C360 Lit Garden Sculpture

This project started when the client saw us at RHS Hampton Court. She loved one of the pieces we had on display but unfortunately, it’d already sold.

Being an interior designer, our client had a clear vision for the piece she commissioned. It was to be the focal point of the garden but it needed to be visible from inside the house. The key viewing point would be the snug with it’s bi-fold doors.

The design needed to link the inside and the outside. We did this with a small but vibrant splash of orange which echos the decoration of the snug. It also contrasted with the natural greens and blues to produce a striking finish.

One of our major considerations during the design phase was the elevated garden. It meant the height of the base was important. Too short and the piece wouldn’t be completely visible. Too high and it would look out of proportion.

Finally, it was important that C360 be a feature piece at night as well as during the day. LED’s around the rim of the base help to create a stunning effect that ensures it’s the focal point of the garden.
