Double Apogee Sculpture

The aim of the Double Apogee Sculpture was to create a centre piece for a secluded driveway. Our client was unsure what would work but she knew it had to be unique. It also had to be a surprise for her husbands birthday, which made planning even more exciting.

The initial consultation gave us the opportunity to see the driveway up close. We found inspiration for the colour scheme all around the property. From the tones of the drive to the conifers along the front of the property and the plants and grass in-between. We used all this to create various designs for discussion. Double Apogee was the clear winner.

The key to the success of Double Apogee is in the balance between the solid structure of the stainless steel and the delicacy of the glass. We designed the glass to flow in a way that guides the eye around the whole piece.

LED lighting around the outside of the piece ensures it’s the highlight of the drive, day and night.
